At Gold Level we only offer Open Canoe Expeditions as we firmly believe that it is the best way of doing your Gold Expedition section. We offer set programmes for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold Expedition which include all aspects of training and assessment. We will provide all equipment required and give as much training as we feel is needed.

I work with Craig Forde to deliver our Duke of Edinburgh Expedition module. Last year Craig took students who had never paddled before, gave them the skill level and supported them to successfully complete a canoeing expedition on the River Spey.  Craig communicates well to the students who in turn respond very well and enjoy the process from the first training session, through the first aid training right to the end of the qualifying expedition. From an organisational point, the support Craig provides me as the leader is fundamental to the success of the programme, the whole process runs very smoothly.
